Merry Christmas
to one and all!!!
We are here, almost, at Long Last!
What will Santa bring?
Will it be a White Christmas?
Can we go out in the Snow to Play?
Will My Coat be warm enough?
Will I also have a Scarf, Hat,
And Gloves to keep
Me Warm?
Will things be tough or Santa this
year? Will Mama's eye fill with
A Tear When She tells
Me Santa had another
Rough Year?Ahhh, Christmas Day is Here At Last!
Why does Mama Cry so
On Such a Wonderful Day?
All I want to do is take my new
Toy, And go Play.For I know that
Christ was born this Day,
that is why we get to eat real good,
' cuz the church ladies brought
us all that food, and Daddy
sat us 'round last night to
Tell us all the story of Baby Jesus
being born today.So much as Mama seems
to mind that Santa had
Another rough year,
It don't bother me none,
for I got my toy, and my warm
Clothes , so I can stay warm outside in
The Snow, like Baby Jesus
all wrapped up and in that
Hay Manger!So I go to Mama
And tell her this and I really
Musta made her glad cuz'
her face lite all up and she
Smiled really Big at Me!
And then She said,
" Merry Christmas, My Son!
I Love You Too!
Thank You!"
